§ 5-159. Amount of fees.

(a)

Service fees will be charged for services rendered by the county under this article as follows:

(1)

Redemption fee: $25.00.

(2)

Board after the first 24 hours: $10.00 per day.

(3)

Adoption fee: $25.00 for a dog or cat requiring sterilization; $10.00 for all other animals.

(4)

Voluntary surrender fee: $25.00.

(b)

No service fee shall be charged for animals donated to an agency approved to perform medical research.
